How To Create & Manage User Roles

Your Drillcut 360 portal allows very granular management of user permissions. 

Standard Roles

Admin – Administrator role with full permissions

Site Manager – This role is for project managers, site managers, foremen, etc. They have access to all of the operational features, but not to financial information, Drillclub points or company management

Site Manager – Requires Order Approval – This role is for project managers, site managers, foremen, etc in businesses who require orders to be approved by procurement before being placed. They have access to all of the operational features, but not to financial information, Drillclub points or company management

Site Manager – Restricted Ordering – This role is for project managers, site managers, foremen, etc. They have access to all of the operational features, but not to financial information, Drillclub points or company management. This role only allows ordering from existing Drillcarts as pre-approved lists of products.

Site Manager – Restricted Ordering & Requires Order Approval – This role is for project managers, site managers, foremen, etc in businesses who require orders to be approved by procurement before being placed. They have access to all of the operational features, but not to financial information, Drillclub points or company management. This role only allows ordering from existing Drillcarts as pre-approved lists of products.

Tradie – This role is for all of your team who know what they need, but don’t have the authority to order. Their orders will be processed as requisition orders and require approval before being placed. Note: this role allows these users to see pricing. If you prefer to hide the pricing, use the Tradie – No Pricing role

Tradie – No Pricing – This role is for all of your team who know what they need, but don’t have the authority to order. Their orders will be processed as requisition orders and require approval before being placed.

Tradie – No Pricing & Requires Order Approval – This role is for all of your team who know what they need, but don’t have the authority to order. Their orders will be processed as requisition orders and require approval before being placed. This role only allows ordering from existing Drillcarts as pre-approved lists of products.

Purchasing – This role is optimised for your procurement team

Accounts – This role is optimised for your accounts payable or finance team

To manage your user’s roles and permissions, go to the User Management page in the 360 portal and click on Manage Roles

To create a new role

  1. Click New Role
  2. Enter a name for the role
  3. Set the permissions you want
  4. Click Save Details

To edit a role

  1. Click on the role name to view the details
  2. Change the settings you want to 
  3. Click Save Details
